Refund Policy
A Legal Disclaimer
Total Concrete Care is a brand of 1247862 Alberta Ltd. (“TCC,” “we,” “us,” “our”). Because our work is custom-specified, site-applied, and performance-tested before hand-off, refunds are offered only in the rare event that we fail to meet the written specification or workmanship standard set out in your contract. This policy explains when a refund—or an equivalent remedy—may apply and how to request it.
1. No-Refund Rule (Normal Circumstances)
Deposits, mobilisation fees, and balance payments are non-refundable once the project schedule is locked and materials are ordered.
Change-of-mind, scope reductions, scheduling conflicts, or delays outside our control (e.g., weather, site inaccessibility) do not qualify for refunds.
2. Exceptions—When a Refund May Apply
You may request a refund only if all three conditions below are met:
1. TCC workmanship or materials deviate from the signed contract/specification.
2. The deviation cannot be rectified through repair or re-application within a reasonable time.
3. You notify us in writing within 10 calendar days of discovering the issue and within 12 months of substantial completion.
If these criteria are satisfied, we will—at our sole discretion—either:
1. re-perform the defective portion of the work,
2. replace faulty materials, or
3. issue a partial or full refund equal to the affected portion of the invoice.
3. Non-Eligible Situations
Refunds will not be granted for issues arising from:
1. improper substrate preparation performed by others,
2. structural movement, hydrostatic pressure, or site conditions beyond our control,
3. misuse, neglect, chemical spills, or lack of routine maintenance,
4. alterations or repairs made by third parties after project hand-off.
4. How to Request a Refund
1. Email info@totalconcretecare.com with “Refund Request – [Project Name]” in the subject line.
2. Include your invoice number, site address, photos, and a description of the defect.
3. Our QA team will contact you within 3 business days to arrange an on-site inspection.
4. After inspection, we will confirm eligibility and proposed remedy in writing within 10 business days.
5. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Alberta’s Sale of Goods Act, the Consumer Protection Act, or any other legislation that may apply. Where such laws mandate a remedy, we will comply.
6. Policy Updates
We may amend this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
